I would say the price was absoloutely and totally ridiculous.
40grand for a 94 classic....
irrespective of whats been done to it, that is ridiculous!!
I just located a 94 model RRC with the full treatment by Overfinch UK.
It was done 6 years ago at a cost of 80,000pounds.
They are asking 39,ooo pounds for it plus all the legal costs and shipping.
That sounds a hell of a lot to me, anyone else think so?
I know they are the best you can get but seriously!!!!!!
Does anyone know if there is one actually in OZ?
Love to pull up next to a new commodoor and beat them.![]()

There is supposed to be at least 2 Schuler Range Rovers in Australia,or were, they were the forerunner of Overfinch, a lot of the Leyland P76 engine blocks went to the UK and to specialist engine builders when Leyland Australia cleaned out it's warehouses.
cheers
There was an Overfinch advertised a little while ago on eBay UK. It sold for about 3500 pounds?. makes the $40K one look overpriced

Makes that one sound like gold.
Be cheaper to find a wreck from UK and have parts shipped to convert Aus RRC.
Sory pop058 did not see your post and was checking on kids when i posted. At least we saw same post. Love V8,s had 3 of them but like fuel economy of my TDI.

G'day Folks
I was up at British Off Road last week and there was a late Classic in there for service, it was one of a special vehicle limited edition a "Sherwood" in Sherwood Green, didn't think that any came to Aust. could have been a private import, was immaculate
cheers
Guys
I emailed the fella selling that one.
He was not prepared to budge and help with transport arrangments.
I am just wondering what they feel like with that much horsepower.
be useless off road really.
I could still have a lot of fun at the lights.
I have one, although it is a bit unoriginal now
The colour is actually Brooklands green, a Bentley and Rolls colour also.
They were actually an Australian special edition, and apparently only 250 of them?? They were actually lower spec than the Vogue SE, no electric heated seats or screen, and mine was bought new at Austral motors in 1992. The original owner is actually a customer of mine and now lives only 6km from me! The world is very small...
