Welcome back brown bear
Good greif guys, where does time go?
I haven't been on here for ages despite meaning to most nights.
Anyway, here I finally am, and I just noticed the date from when I last logged on25th June 2008
Hell fire, I have obviously been far busier than I thought.
Anyway, I hope everyone is well and all keeping your Landies off-roading and over-landing, or what ever you do with yours!
PS, It's good to be back to a quality forum.

You have missed a lot of fun![]()
How do you know Brown Bear missed out on a lot of fun?? We don't know what he was doing in his time away from here![]()
Wish I had been hibernating!
As for fun, well I like to think so.
Finished fitting new kitchen from a total strip and gut job, as in floor joists, floor decking, heated element, tiles, re-plastered walls new ceiling, full re-wire, new plumbing and gas, kitchen units and fittings etc etc.
Did all but the plastering myself which made the whole project a learn as you go job.
Took my time as it was my first time and it came out mint.Sorry for bragging but I amazed myself
Been setting up a new company but nothing to do with kitchen fitting
Had a great Road Trip in our Discovery around western Europe taking us into France, down the East coast and over the Alps heading through parts of Switzerland and Italy.
Dropped down to the South coast and into Monaco before heading back into France following the South coast along the Med pulling over when ever we felt too hot for a dip in the sea! Then headed North up to the Millau Brdge and then over to the West coast of France again following the coast line to La Rochelle and Fort Boyard before continuing along the coast back up to the port of Boulogne to cross the chanel back to freezing cold wet and windy Britain
Oh, just to make it worse, two of our good friends got married and have emigrated over to Oz!
Also been doing a fair bit of off-roading including a couple of trips out to the Lake District in northern England and plenty other trips too.
Apart from that it's been pretty quiet!
So what's been happening on here then, any juicy gossip....?
Do your good friends have 4wd's? Since you last logged on I have done the Adelaide to Cape York trip(10,000km), the Adelaide to Blue Mountains in Sydney for 4wd tracks(3000km) and Adelaide to Bendethera(Deau National Park fire trails, 3000km)and it's about time for another Simpson Desert crossing maybe after the Birdsville Races
