    Are you parting them out?

Parting out all except the 1975 244 Volvo and latest addtion as of yesterday, 95 Disco.
Volvo is rare and now becoming a collectors item.. its a one owner... so i have plans to rally and destroy it....lol.

i honestly need to get motivated and wreck the rest... but i like to keep drive line as one until i get a buyer...

Take it from one who knows Clarkie, there is life after Volvos
Is there anything special about your 244, apart from the age and the fact that it's still a better car than Holden/Ford half the age?

Remind me NOT to allow you and my son meet! He's the kid who wouldn't let me pick him up outside the school in a Volvo. Guess who has a yard full of Volvos now; his wife's...... sort of stock, his......... wild, the local petrol heads won't take it on; embarassed to many sixes and eights! Project '76 244- 351 clevo, will be road legal........various other twos. Won't go into his Bedfords, Mk I Escort GT or Ser II Morris.
Wonder which of you would lead the other astray.

I have a friend who is currently preparing a 61 Volvo for Targa Tasmania. He has done it in previous years with a 64 Volvo but has retired that. It will be interesting to see how he goes.

I wont brag or go into full details.... but the poor old 6 cylinder volvo was sideways alot of the time with a white haze coming out from the rear guards.......

Interesting is it happened in Geelong, Richies Bvd was the starting point..... ending point was out past Corio....
I got home in Clifton springs to find my folks already new as a mate of my Bro in law from mildura was one of the 2000 people down there watching the street illegal drags and rang my bro in law to laugh about a Gold Volvo hanging a skid... so to speak...

well i made it to the front page of the geelong advertiser..... and copped the biggest fine and loss of licence known to Geelong courts at that time... charge.... careless and resisting arrest...

Pic of a $200 special i hung a skid in.....

I'm also known to most of my mates to be the only one they have known that can set tarmac on fire by a Volvo...... that i do wish i had on film... little spots of burning rubber on a 100m long skid....

a few of my old collection...

The one that caused all the isses.....
