Where do you work is the question I guess.
I love Avoca Beach and if you work in Gosford or around that is my pick.
But if you work up north the traffic can be bad in the peaks.

wyong is about half way between the north of sydney and newcastle.
the central coast has all of the worst traits of the western suburbs of sydney, but with a water feature thrown in.
friends of mine have witnessed the worst of human nature since moving up there. from not feeling safe in their own house because of ratbag neighbours, one was trying to poison their dogs, then in the next house the guy next door was setting the bush next door on fire while my mate was away, in the middle of the night, then running out and saving the day to gain favour with my mate's wife.
they've been violently road raged.
some call the central coast, "god's waiting room" because of the oldies that move up there after retirement, i refer to it as "the place sydney goes to die"
there are drug problems there and therefore crime, the area is nice, it's the feral part of the population that screws it up for everyone.
