    woohoo...I now own a 130 HCPU

    Hi all

Well after much stuffing around I have purchased the 130 defender HCPU from feral 130. I was originally going to purchase one from Ballarat, but the thought of flying down and driving it back to Brisbane in a weekend was a little dawnting. But finally some luck feel my way and the AULRO classifieds did the trick.

I drove it today and just need to do a few things for the roadworthy.

Can't wait to pick it up tomorrow afternoon.

    Cheers

    Andrew

    thanks Tim and Dmmos

It needs a serious wash first. It does have an oil leak from somewhere on the side of the motor (under neath the Air filter), so I need to take a further look to work where the oil is coming from. I have a lot to learn about these!

The rear tub has broken a few mounts which need welding - another job for the weekend.

It has a 2" spring lift courtesy of EFS springs and shocks. The ride seems a bit harsh so we will see how it goes.

The best bit...nice cold A/c...I haven't had that for years!

Will post pics over the weekend

    Cheers

Welldone mate , The oil leak should either be the lift pump (fuel) or the vacume pump (brakes)
