    Land Rover problem?

    Bugger in 3 out of 4 LR I have to change the hood release cable
    The only good one was the Stage 1 109
    Stupid job but 3 elbows will come handy

    mine has a problem only if the sun is on the bonnet before the engine has been run.... weird huh. always happens when i check daily camping. Put it in the shade for 10 mins then opens fine....

    yeah weird.

    What are you lot doing opening the bonnet??? by the standard of owner maintenance I see from time to time, I reckon the 'bonnet cables of the rich and famous' seize from a distinct lack of use

    Yes Arthur, it is a pain isn't it?? Almost as bad as when it breaks while reefing on it and cuts your fingers in half

    I find the problem when looking for the spare wheel under the bonet a la VW

    Now I know why I have to walk round the other side of the car to pull mine. It's a hood release, not a bonnet release
