I think Ralf Mueller and Sonya Bettany (world reknowned veterinary dermatologists) would disagree with you there. Even dyes in their food dishes can cause allergies. When I was at Uni, we had a series of referral cases which the dermatologists and veterinary epidemiologists tracked back to the red dye in a food bowl distributed as a promotional giveaway by a pet food company!

    2. there are two common forms of demodex - juvenile - usually low grade and localised. generalised demodex infections can be nasty and severe with secondary bacterial infections which require antibiotic treatment.
    3. Dectomax is a cattle injectable drench that is used 'off label' in dogs and only under veterinary supervision. It can be effective is some cases - but not all. Yes it can take weeks to months.
    4. I would not rely on Advocate to effectively treat demodex or even 'control' after treatment. Much more effective drugs are available.
I can appreicate what your saying I was only talking from experience of it working....of course its not going to work for everything

advocate has controlled a friends demedex in her staffy very efficently
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......
