I agree the toothpaste tastes festy if warm is used. The brush also feels wrong... But I do brush my teeth in the shower however I don't notice the temperature difference as I'm immersed already.

I think we really need to discuss who uses electric or manual brush and what people prefer.

I'm not sure why I'm going in to this but.....

I have had 3 electric numbers and I found the expensive one way to rough. Anyway, was talking to Ms Dentist about it and she said she also got it as it was meant to floss while you brushed and I hate flossing but although it does it it is extremely rough on the gums and in her opinion she reckoned it was doing more harm then good. So now I have a 200 dollar toothbrush.... might get some new heads and use it to clean the grout?

Not even once? Running late - got to be somewhere, a quick drench & brush? You've got to try it - come on man, all the guys are doing it...

Don't like brushing with hot water anyway.

    TIM.
Plus running a few litres of water down the sink to get the warm is a bit of a waste ...well here in Vic it is - doesn't seem like the notherners have an issue with water at the moment.

Without getting too Pythonesque, I live in a studio apartment quite literally the size of a shoe box (a ladies shoe box at that!)...

You get used to it, but the best part is that the surprisingly capable hot water system is 1m from the kitchen sink, and 3m from the shower

    Instant hot water is priceless...
