Thread: Off to Nambucca Heads

Off to Nambucca heads at dawn tomorrow - if I can get there.

According to the RTA I will have to go through either Raymond Terrace or Glen Innes, as all roads to the coast in between are blocked. I will be in NH for Friday and Saturday nights, returning on Sunday. (Wedding on Saturday)

Well, made it there and back without incident. Went by the Oxley Hwy which was reported as open by the RTA on Friday morning. One short section was down to one lane controlled by traffic lights as the result of a landslip, and there were a few places where small slips onto the road surface had been pushed aside, plus you could see where the water had been over the road at one point.

Rain held off for the wedding, but was raining by the time I left this morning.
