Are your 6 all in such good condition?

Many that I have seen around the place are that full of rust you'd never get them registered. The value therefore, relates to the condition and not just to quantity.

One of ours which was purchased for my previously mentioned price was already rebuilt and registered and also included a full second chassie. 2 others are in running and registrable condition.

The other three are more usable for parts but are in running condition.

So the answer to the question, would be that maybe 3 are goers and have a possible value somewhere between $5K and $15K each, that's a far cry from 6 at 15K .

I guess the real winner here is us... we got all of ours for a steal then :D

I sold an original LWB version back in 2008 for over $10k.

It was in excellent unrestored condition.

You can obviously get them for less but it will cost you in the long run...

Oh yeah I remember a few people ringing up at the time with low ball offers.

I am sure I offended more than a few by refusing their generous offers Grover :D

Thought I'll just google and we'll work it out. But no need.
I arrive back in Melb to find 1 fine AND real example right here in the yard. I could not just look but touch too. Lol

So then WHO's transport a Tasmanina registered haflinger yr 1969 from memory somewhere ??

Given what the vehicle is, I really do not see why Haflingers attract such high prices. I have been an admirer of them since the early 70s and nearly bought one 20 years ago.

I certainly would like one and missed one for $4k an couple of years ago but I do not believe they are worth $15-$20K for a good one but then I guess they are worth what someone is prepared to pay.
