    Defender Stub axles

    Gday everyone one, can anyone recommend the best place to buy Stub axles for a Defender ? i converted my hubs to run in oil and the now leaking straight away and its the second seal i have done in that side.
    So iam guessing the stubb axle is in need of replacement

    Have you tried Triumph Rover Spares in Adelaide? I have always recieved excellent support from them

    Have you tried the double lipped seals RTC3511. Also I have used BMI (british motor imports) in Sydney 0245877807 and found them to be excellent.........Regards....Brian

    Hey Brian i used the RTC3511 seals on both axles so iam hoping its the stub axle.

    Before buying new axles, have you miked the shafts to see if they are worn. If so there are other options as well, such as stainless sleaves - that is if the rest of the stub is OK.
