The Jags from the era were great cars, but are so expensive now. I tend to agree with my friend about the Rover, in that it has a really interesting style, a great interior and it's perfectly usable in original form. They are also not too expensive, which I suppose is one benefit to wanting something a bit different.
I'd love one myself, but have my hands full trying to get one Land Rover properly sorted out (plus keeping 6 bikes in order, renovating a house, spending hours browsing AULRO.....:D)
