I'm a coffee snob though I do enjoy a green tea or peppermint or cinnamon tea on occasions. I have my Gaggia Classic and my new Sunbeam grinder and I know how to use it. I've got an order in with Toby's Estate for some new beans to try... hopefully it will arive this week

I can't drink instant coffee at all any more - YUCK!

That said there's nothing like a warm glass of good mead on a cold night (unfortunately we don't get them up here).

Coffee...definatley nothing out of a can or jar..that's not real stuff..we have a Nespresso machine at home, it's the closest thing we have found to get a good coffee at home, otherwise we have the Bellaroma factory just around the corner..they know us well.

the autos are good when your running out the door and you want it quick. That's the only time mine gets turned on anyway.
I just wanted something that would make me a proper coffee as fast as an instant coffee. No muss, no fuss.

Tea, except when in the USA or McDonalds - Americans (including McDonalds) do not know how to make tea - with boiling water not hot water, and preferably with tea leaves not bags.

I too have found tea (as opposed to tea bags) getting a lot harder to find, but I have found a place called Tea Leaves in Yarra Glen in Victoria. They stock about two hundred varieties, and their prices are quite reasonable. (actually, tea made from leaves, even good quality tea leaves, is one of the cheapest drinks you can get).

I stock Earl Grey, Terry's Blend, plain green tea, Jasmine, Cinnamon & clove, Chai and English Breakfast plus peppermint.

    Otherwise I get too sleepy

Got a good recipe for Hot Buttered Rum too - but wouldn't drink it first thing in the morning though

Mmm I used to be a coffee person (ground my own, none of this instant stuff) but since my dad no longer works in a fancy restaurant and brings the beans home free anymore I've switched to tea -- if it has to be the bag variety, Lady Grey (Twinnings) is the pick, or I use leaf tea that I got when I was in India - nice variety of Assam and Darjeeling teas, but running out quickly and I don't mind real chai masala if I can be bothered making it properly..

long black espresso in the morning, sometimes lunch time as well. Tea for the rest of the day. I would drink plain hot water if I did not have tea. As for instant coffee, no thanks.

When camping I take a plunger.

No milk with any of the above, only for cereal and babes.
