Sorry if none of my posts tonight make any sense.....if they ever did.
My sympathies to you Hymie. I had one some years ago, people at work where I was at the time (04:00hrs Night Shift - St George ICU), said that first I went white as a sheet and then green, they sent me straight to the ED.

Sitting in the ED and having been prescribed an opiate, I waited and waited and waited, over an hour later I could stand it no more - I caught the RN's eye and then blurted out at her, what the ...... are you doing, growing the opium poppies!. Being an RN myself, I don't like to be like that however this person needed to find a new profession.

Again my sympathies for you I KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE!

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Yep, had 'em, too. The pain passing the stones was pretty bad, but not unbearable. What's worse is the ongoing kidney pain that just seems to go on and on. Not significant, but doesn't leave you alone.

Are but you were being general......oh and we may not of been pulling a trailer but we had enough gear to sink a ship as well as a roof top tent and roof bag full of stuff we still had to carry enough for a 4 week trip...so we weren't light either

The pain from passing the stone was like I'd passed a 130!
    A red one
I've had them enough to know whats coming and carry the appropriate Analgesics, 100mg Indocids.
One of them and a liter or two of water with a few phone calls to the hospital to let them know whats going on and she'll be right.
