cheers
Thanks guys.....it was more that they had to take the rails off to paint the roof so was wondering whether to have them bog the holes and paint over it especially as the have to rub it right back
Anyway thanks for the link its very helpful:)
Wow, this is almost exactly what i want to make up for my county at some stage - no uprights for a low line for clearance(with trees etc really needed when running 37s), light weight so less noticable with side angles etc, tube section on the outer to protect the roof and give the rack some strength with a mess floor, but i would like mine to follow the roof line down the sloped front and all the way to just behind the windscreen...
How much did it set you back for materials to build it?
Gday Pete,
I was glad to see it go to a good home :)
I was very handy back when i still had the D2 and i agree on the paint it black comment, i just never got around to it when i had it.
Here it is doing its job back when we had it, this was taken at Rainbow beach on our way to fraser island in October 06(i think)
