Can i borrow someones car trailer?

After some time without a landy, im on the verge of picking up my next one. (IIa SWB ).

If someone is willing to donate a car trailer for a couple of days for a 1400 kay round trip to pick her up, i would willingly pay in beer/other booze of choice.

Only catch is, it's late notice and was hoping to head off tonight sometime (from Maitland NSW heading to Albury).

If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Just hire one. Borrowing car trailers is not worth the drama as they may not be in good order Trust me.

So you are lending him yours are you Matt?

It is a reasonable question, nobody has come forward with one so we gave him a reasonable answer with alternatives. As you say, in the spirit of the forum.

Personally you really have to know someone well before you lend them a car trailer or any braked trailer for that matter.

My brother has a Tuza horse float, Duratorque axles, electric brakes etc etc. He was taking two horses to an event in Sydney several hundred Klm away, but the trailer wasn't towing correctly and even blew a tyre. Changed the tyre and took the trailer to old man Tuza at Penrith to sort out the problem. Jacked up the trailer and one of the Duratorques was stuffed and the second one damaged.

A "friend" had borrowed the trailer with two horses on board had run into a median strip at speed. Didn't think to tell my brother who had to foot the bill for the repair.

No you can't borrow my car trailer, not until I have known you for a long time and have seen the way you drive. Hilton can borrow it anytime as he meets the citeria above

    No offence to anyone.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

fare enough !!...each to there own...but Ive know my bro all his life and have friends that have been just that for many years and l trust them implicitly ...but even then things happen and that just life !! ..if your bro had a friend that didn't tell him he had an accident running into a median strip then in my book he isn't a freind......FGS..i had a gentleman on this forum kindly offer to bid for an item in an auction for me as l wasn't registered to bid and couldn't afford to be register for a one off bid he trusted me simply because he saw l was a regular that had been around the forum traps for a good while!!.......just goes to show, each to there own and it all depends on your attitude to how you see things ...

lm surprised at your comments as l see you as one that is always willing to help out within the forum family ....

    cheers though
