Thread: having a sad !

hiya all i hope the day has been kind to you.
mine unfortunatley turned to pooh, having had the defender sat on the drive for four months gathering cobwebs literally, i was glad that i finally had the funds to get the transfer case done so i could get the bloody thing over the pits and registered in W.A.
sadly the afternoon(2pm today) i was due to take it to the servo in north perth to get the transfer case exchanged have the rear flange seal done and possibly the rear flange itself i recieved a revised quote which is $1490 more than i was quoted the week prior when i went to see the bloke ( man spewing ain't the word) total price quoted $3490 .....that is a step too far **** that for a game of soliders!
got a new quote $2600 which covers the lot including oils from disco auto's in wangarra .....i am so kicking my arse now as i planned to rip my transfer box out (the hard way on the floor) and do it all myself as an overhaul as per the manual but then lost my bottle grrrrrr! could have had it on the road two months ago bugger !
