So have we decided on a game? Snakes and ladders or trouble would rival cricket in the excitement stakes (wonder have the Numpties had to pawn the Deefer yet?) or we could lean more to extreme games such as blindfolded pidgeon shooting or paraless shooting

Set up Facebook so I could play Scrabble with Abaddonxi ... played my go but gave up waiting for him to start . Haven't got the knack of it yet, think I may have closed the whole game & have to wait for another invite

Illegal up here Do you remember the game we used to play as kids? I think we called it splits, you start off, feet together, facing your mate about a yard away. You take it in turns to throw the knife into the ground, blade first, roughly on the same axis as your mate's feet. If the blade entered the ground, your mate had to move the foot closer to knife to that position. If you threw the weapon between his feet, you could return to the initial stance. The first to loose balance was the loser.

Pidgeons, got a story. This dear old lady with a walking stick came into the shop.Wanted to know if we had any netting that she could make bags out of.For what purpose? I ask.well.She trains gun dogs for a living, she feeds pidgeons in her garden, then puts some kind of dope in the food, goes out when they are drowsy, bangs them on the head with her stick, and puts them in the freezer. She then fires them out of a static catapult for the trainee gun dogs to retrieve. All this in a suburban street in Southport. She is a bit miffed because the neighbours have complained to the council and she now has to go to a park or somewhere,so she needs the bags to carry the frozen pidgies.I could not keep a straight face, had to go and get somebody else to serve her.

Did I tell you how much I hate snakes? Just thought I'd reiterate ...

Did you read the post I did some time ago regarding attempting to pickle a snake Tony had killed out the front & taking it on the train into the city as a show & tell for work .... needless to say, it didn't go down well.
