darlin, if you had been one of my apprentice's you would have run out of the shed in the first 5 minutes it took them a few days to realize my bark was worse than my bite, but it did help that they were a captive audience and couldn't give me any lip...well took a big risk if they did:angel:

No, not yet Ian. Got the diff rebuilt & back in, but thought I'd check the state of the splines on the axles ... noticed one of the wheel bearings looked a bit bent, so decided to change them all. So have to get some more new bearings first :D Should be finished by next weekend though. :)

Thanks Grockle, this was not an easy task, (slippery little suckers) I had to pin the bugger to the bread board with lino tacks, to get an accurate measurement. By the time I worked out the figure of two inches and six mm, (whatever they are) he (the biggest goldfish) was definately becoming a bit breathless, or whatever fishys out of water, get. However, fret not, he came good with no apparent long term issues or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, after a long drink. He's better off than me!

So Grockle, what do I do with the figure (2" 6mm), will I need a logarithm table?:o:(
