Just left after having cut the plug off the TV with my Leatherman Wave(god there sharp)into the bandaid supply all ready)to stop Mrs G watching a programme on 'Skiving off work' channel about how to make a duvet cover out of old shirts, first stop will be The Cock and Pullet in Sheldon just west of Bakewell, all being well.

Evening Cooper ... how nice of you to join us this evening Don't worry, I manage to pee at least one person off every day. No, actually, make that two, seeing as I always manage to pee Tony off, that doesn't really count.

I worked out I should have stayed at home when I tripped up a kerb this morning & nearly got hit by a rather fast moving bus, to being pushed into a train (stationery I'm pleased to say), by an extremely exuberant commuter who evidently couldn't wait to get on the train. There were a number of words exchanged, none too pleasant I hasten to add.

And now my laptop is playing up again, driving me to drink. Apart from that, everything is absolutely spiffing, tally ho & all that

So have you started your dance yet, or is it a wee early? What attire is one expected to don for such an important occasion? And I do hope there is decent music at this party ... or I shall be leaving early.

I've started warming up with the darts ... I'll post a picture of the dart board if it helps enable others to play

You think that's boring ... torquing went for seven pages am now up to power tools, can't tell you what fun that is. Seeing as you'll be here again on Saturday ... you can give poor Tony a break, in fact, he'll probably pay you

Oh my ... doesn't sound too promising at all. Perhaps we'll have to wait until the other guests arrive, in the hope they supply decent music & decent beverages. Aren't you doing the honours & playing for us this evening Cooper? I have located my guitar, so I can join you if you like, that's sure to scare the living daylights out of the cats. Apart from Iceberg the deaf feline of course. I can see I will most likely be relegated to the shed ... so maybe that's not such a good idea afterall.

Come to think of it, I'm afraid my dart throwing is proving about as good as my archery. Marginally better than my pistol shooting, but only marginally. Oh yes, and my back requires some rather extensive manipulation after my mechanicing efforts on the weekend, so don't know that my dancing will be up to scratch.

Glad to hear that the attempts at bodily harm on you failed(tell Tony he has to pay more to get quality)
Freakin' at the freakers ball seems to have got off to a slow start.I arrived in my sequined plus fours and off the shoulder sporran to find that I was the only one here so far.Music is being supplied by The Moron Tap An Apple Choir and seems mainly to consist of the greatest hits of Mary Tyler Moore.Does not bode well for a fun evening.Hope the darts livens things up.

My what a sheltered updraging you must have had, a team consists of 9 players all have 3 games each, best out of 3 you see, I will leave it to your imagination how much time was spent at the bar waiting for your turn or the match to finish i loved playin darts.....
