You are quite right about the LH braile it is quicker, but sometimes people miss read it because of the staples,apparently they can be read as naughty words(as it's put in the end papers warning of each edition)

It's not just naughty braile reading that gets you in trouble with the devil.
Aunty Potter(nee Smith) was always telling me off,'you won't go to heaven if you carry on doing that our Grockle'she'd say as I emptied my dinner plate into the dogs mouth by holding it's nose(her cooking was bloody awful),Uncle Potter used to show me his fist tattoo for doing it,but I caught him doing it after he saw me, so I showed him my aXse, I can still feel the stinging of his toenails digging into it !
