No the dog(Torvil) loved the attention,Aunt Potter(nee Smith)worked for Pedigree pet foods,I think it addled her brain as I'm sure she couldn't tell if it were dogs or us she was feeding.
I used to drag Torvil all around the village after dinner to let him 'run it off' as Aunty would say,he hated it if 'One man and his dog' was on TV because a bitch he fancied was often in the audiance.on seeing her he'd drag his backend along the carpet much to Uncle Potters annoyance as Aunty Potter(nee Smith)stopped Uncle from doing it when the Nolan Sisters were on he fancied the tall one!
