They don't stop, they don't go round corners, the chrome is absolute crap, and they weigh 100kg too much....... crappiest bike on the planet! (apart from them cheap chinese things they're selling now)

Each of these models suffered from a number of issues, both during and beyond their production life. Every issue was initialized with S and ended with i.

Aye up Ian,where did you all go yesterday?

The two main probs were the baffle plates collapsed and duff alternators.

No Idea, they wouldn't have been permitted in the workshop and I certainly would never be tempted to own one.
The biggest problem would be that they would be incredibly underpowered, being a small capacity 2 stroke more at home fitted to a lawn-mower.
Though I did have an rz350 for a while, that was a bit of fun!!!

....And now for an update on the Rover.
She's back on her wheels after 11 days, she ended up getting new pinion bearings and seal, diff centre bearings, upper and lower swivel pins and bearings/bushes, inner and outer axle seals, cv bushes, wheel bearings and hub seals, drive flanges, ball joint and a new stub axle.

Seems like a lot but she's got 252,00k's on the clock and she gets a real flogging so I wasn't too surprised at the amount of wear!

Just got the rear diff seal and drive-flange sand the g/box to do and she will be like a new truck again.
    YIPPEEE!
