    Well, weekends coming.

Have a choice here. Fix power steering pump in RRC previously trashed by son and heir so that he can go bush and trash something else next weekend or fix airbags in P38A so that I can go trash something else next weekend.

or.......................'miserable weather', stay inside and pretend all is OK.

    Life is but a dream.

Eldest daughter went to UK week before last for a friends wedding, $1500 return !!!! Went to Wales for the weekend, had a ball.

Is the world really this small ?

Which is of course why Land Rovers were inventerd. To turn a simple stroll into a complicated and expensive journey.

    Evening/Morning All,

Sounds familiar. Two weeks before SWMBO and I were to depart on last years epic adventure SWMBO goes A over T off the step ladder and thinks she's broken her arm. Up to the local hospital for X-rays and yep, busted. Trainee doc in cas. says plaster off in 4 weeks. Next day GP, when replacing plaster with fibreglass version, says thats OK if you're 12; for you 6 weeks.
Anyway six weeks later wer'e in Kalumburu, the local nurses didn't have whatever special thingy you need to remove it, so me and me mate Mick made do.

    You got off lightly NM.

Yeah! She's pretty tough NM, in your line of work. Catches babies for a living. A week before this she tripped over getting out the tent, landed on the broken arm and cracked/broke a couple of ribs. Caused her more grief than the arm. I think the 'Vitamin B' helped dull the pain. Perhaps that's what made her fall over in the first place ? Nah don't think I'll go there, decidedly unsafe.
