Most certainly, they were looking from a greater elevation for a start; and who knows how many eyes they had?

[QUOTE=cooper;1078657]I was 19,sat with my girlfriend in Doncaster UK,when we saw this light come over the horizon at great speed, silent,it stopped then went 90degrees,seemingly from standstill to full speed in an instant.Did a complete square and then chuffed off.We had a v Bomber base nearby(supposedly secret, yeah right) so rang them and told them what we had seen, their response,"Probably meteorology balloons" Of course, why did I not think of that, anyway a few more reports in the papers next day,all given same response.I would love a balloon that could do what this "thing" did.[/QUOTE
There was a doco on that, a number of sightings over quite e period of time. An ex squaddy was interviewed, he admitted the RAF asked the Yanks if they had serupticiously developed something that quick. The RAF dude carried a fair bit of pidgeon poop on his shoulders when he was in.

Come on Panda, you started this. I supose your sighting turned out to be a goat, with a burning yellow candle caught in its horns, jumping a fence in panic.

Were you lot looking for me? Sorry, been off crook with the flu. Bwlahaha.

4 days in bed - real nasty one - the doc said it might be swine flu but couldn't be bothered doing the test.

It's ok I've found that Dr. Johnnie Walker cures the pain and headache - I have begun suckling it - only 25ml at a time but it's a start, - not sure if my stomachs can handle it but now getting my energy back..

    Sorry about the saga.............Bwahahahahaha

[Now where is that recipe >:-) ]

It's day 25 of "NO SMILIE September - I must admit I have weakened on a couple of posts - but in general I feel a lot better without those silly little yellow "HAVE A NICE DAY" bastards. >:-(

Sorry to hear of your illnes Sleepy No we weren't looking for you, we didn't even notice your absence, or miss you

I feel the sad yellow bee's do, or can convey a tone that mere typing totally fails to do. The above paragraph demonstrates this quite well. Without the teasing head my statement could be rather hurtful. very rude at best.

Yes, well, I was rather hoping your sighting was more dramatic ... am rather reluctant to spill mine ... people think I'm mad as a cut snake as it is ... I don't really want to give them any more reason ...
