    we drove 2,000 km plus last weekend for a long weekend

    only so we could see Landy's and AULRO members

    the difference between here and the UK....

    I remember when a certain pommie police commissioner decided to leave his stain - ahem - mark - on the state of NSW. Really had no idea of how vast the state was, let alone the country. Thought he could jump in his chauffeur driven Calais and be in Broken Hill in a little over an hour...

    Some people!,I read a tale about a couple doing the Pennine way long distance walk(the one Mrs G did earlier this year)271 miles in a suit and skirt carrying suitcasesprob rang Mountain Rescue from there mobile for a lift!

    but that is what makes this country so great

    never really had the urge to travel overseas as I am still looking around here
    has taken me thirty years so far have not see all of it

    well we will keep looking then
