I made a model of a mosquito ... cool aren't they? We went to a really good airshow in the UK few years ago ... love the Spitfires too.

Yes, quite well thanks Cooper. I will be taking it the wonderful vehicle for a test run on my birthday (being the weekend) ... it had better not play up on me or a very large hammer will be in order. Of course I will make sure the Goanna is resplendent with some new skulls for my birthday as well, and a mascot, seeing as it's such a special occasion

I've only just caught up with this thread ... I believe congratulations are in order for you Models out of solid brass ... that would have been very impressive! Fancy not keeping them ... tsk, tsk, tsk.

I wonder if your father is a similar vintage to mine.

During the war he made a model of a Lockheed Ventura from solid brass.

I don't have the model or a picture of the model but here is a photo from the AWM of Dad loading depth charges onto a Lockheed Ventura. He is second from our left.

I have mentioned it before, but it is worth a search on the AWM collections if you have relatives or friends who have served.

If I only had $1.00 for each time I've heard that I could pay half of what you have spent on your 100".

    Cooper

    Hey Cooper,
I won tickets for myself and five mates to the last game at Lang Park (I refuse to recognize any other name). I get entry to the game and $6000 spending moolar, post game party and acccomodadion at the Marque Hotel. I've never heard of it before buy apparently it's next to the casino, I realize it's not much notice and a fair way for you to come, Cooper, but if by any chance you're free on the 1st of next month, could you put my bin out for me?
