I don't remember it but will google it later. Brisbane City Council, Dept of Transport used to have an ex WW II half track Scammell tank transporter, converted back to 6 X 6, as a flat towing tram and bus recovery unit. It got similar fuel (un)economy.

the tracks went over the rear wheels Ian a factory fit kit,ours had them also
