Depends on many factors, such as what metal they are made of, like brass, aluminium of soft steel, whether they are installed cold, if the parts joined are held tightly together, the rivet is the correct type such as flat head, oval, countersunk ... am I boring you yet, cause I'm sure as hell boring myself

So you lot are reminiscing about privvy problems, I'm living them!Due to the plumbing problems skillfully compounded by my very good self, this abode still lacks water supply, well at the taps anyway. Any day now we are expecting official renaming to the great inland sea of Babinda!I digress, as we lack flushing medium, twice a day I have to refill the cistern manually; with sawdust. This chore is but a minor inconvienience (pun unintentional) compared to the act of flushing, the dust is a killer. I tried countering this by flushing prior to vacating, but you really don't want to know about that.
On a brighter note, the eighteen buoys tied accross the front yard, to facilitate access and egress are firmly tied with figures of eight, offering reasonable safety.

No, quite the opposite, I find the subject rivetting

I'm also amazed that one went unused for so long, too corny?

No, but granny Smith in her collection left to me in her will by the way,has some very rare recordings one by Burl Ives singing his version of Suzi Quatro's 'can the can' accompanied by Beryl Read using a nail on a wash board, but the best in my opinion is The Huddersfield Choral Society singing there version of 'I was born with a plastic spoon in my mouth' recorded in a transport cafe on A62 near Rippondon.

You don't consider the singlehanded destruction of the Cairns Water infrastructure working? I suppose you think Dambusters was a joyflight too!

They were also justifiably flushed with success.

The dambusters,my dad's uncle was a large stone in the dam wall of Ladybower dam, where Guy Gibson and his Squadron (617) did some of there practice runs, often waving to them as they flew above him at sixty feet.He was told to stop by a water baliff as he was putting the crews off.

[QUOTE=cooper;1047699]Well,that has knocked my duck off.I was looking forward to getting a copy from you.The plastic spoon song would be "sustitute" by the Who.yes?By the way,are you old enough to remember Roy Harper, one of the best lines in a song that I have ever heard,"A chinese wrestler's jock strap, covered in chip fat,on a greasy day"

Yes !, believe it or not he was in my cousons class 4b at primary school,he even wore that actual jock strap outside of his shorts even then aged 6 ,his father used to give my couson a lift home from school in his waist coat pocket along with Roy.

ps. it wasn't covered in anything at that time
