I thought I was going doo-lally, alas, one has to read every thread just to stay abreast on this one.

Panda, I think they should have emphasised that thin material must be mechanically held, ie vise, G clamp etc. Apart from the mishaps pointed out by Coop, the potential for amputating fingers is phenominal.

Ummmmmmm, I'm not sure. You'll have to consult with the pommies, they're very good at being bad losers & blaming everyone else ...

    Poor Coopsey ...

    Let's see what you've got

You worked out "Penelope", which leaves:

    Pandora Penelope ***** Hamilton-*****

Now, how many letters have you managed to get so far?

    I think it was a "C" "L" and "E". Is that right?

Okay, so now with the other clues:

Great Zeus! After launching a number of level glasses, she saw a coloured leech and went totally blank.

    I'll make it easier still:

    Who was Zeus?

Look for anagrams (what was launched?, note it's plural & 2 words)

Once you find out who launched them .... that's one part of the puzzle solved.

Or you could just find the anagram from the other words in the sentence, which gives the names

    Come on Cooper ...
