Last week on my way into work I spotted a woman who looked like Jack Regan off of the tv prog 'The Sweeny' ,to day I was passed by a woman who reminded me of the horse from 'The adventures of Black Beauty' both on the same bit of road !

I believe there were a fleet of 6 ton dropsides on aluminium delivery work. They looked a bit like overgrown Morris pick-ups, with a curved gusset on the front of the body.

My FiL drove three wheel Scammels, not sure when, but he was runner-up to UK Lorry Driver of the Year in '62. He drove a Bedford artic then.
