I think it's an Ian thing. I seem to have a knack for picking properties that are in rain shadows and/or mobile phone/www black spots. Would explain my meagre income when I tried fortune telling as a career.

Not so much that he is a slave driver, he got busted defrauding a major client nearly $20,000. He is amazed and still totally bewildered that we were shown the door. He thinks that because it was repayed, we should keep the job!!!! Coconut cowboys.

... actually never read the books, but have a feeling am going to now ...

think this one pretty well sums up this thread ...

Arthur: Normality? We can talk about normality until the cows come home.
    Ford: What is normal?
    Trillian: What is home?
    Zaphod: What're cows?

    Night watch goat report

Well I have to tell you, this goat has me stumped.

Tony noticed when it was sitting on the couch, it looked like it was ruminating ... thought, nay, no way, stomach wouldn't be nearly enough developed

After preparing his bed of lucerne straw stuff with a nice warm blanket to insulate & putting it next to the bed ... he promptly jumped into it, had a wee & a poo, & started eating the lucerne I mean seriously eating it ... unbelievable. Put a bowl of water next to bed, just in case ... nah, didn't think he would either, but you never know.

He then decided he'd curl up next to the bed & go to sleep. Only problem was, everytime I moved away he started carrying on like a pork chop. As I couldn't really reach him from the bed, kind of just ended up sleeping half the night on the floor next to him, at least until he got more comfortable, which he gradually started to do, so I could leave him for periods without him panicking.

Moved into lounge at about 5 when he woke bleating like crazy ... still can't get him to have any milk. But he jumped in the lucerne, had a wee, & is now curled up next to me on lounge asleep.

This is one clever little goat, or one determined little goat ... is there such a thing as miniature goats?

We know absolutely nothing about him, other than the fact he appeared in the neighbours yard (who has 2 goats as well), so naturally he thought of us as didn't think he'd survive the night.

Am going to take him outside (Ziggy was pretty good with him when got him home, sniffing him & what have you) & see how he is outside.

Still hasn't had any liquids though ...
