Cummins engines, 555 cubic inch NA, making about 150hp. VT 190 was the same basic engine, vastly improved with a turbo added, popular and reliable.
The Roadliners had terrible economy and were quite troublesome,Blue Bus of Willington had a factory Demonstrator but this was lost in the fire on Jan 5 76 that distroyed the entire fleet including the first Daimler Fleetline rego 7000 HP
Yes I had that one too, I also a Corgi Series 1 in RAC livery, ariels and all!
the Corgi LR lwb were 109's but had series two curved sides but with the series one roof,as you say RAC also red and yellow breakdown truck, blue with white roof ute(pick up here) finaly green with beige tilt they are still using the original molds even to day

the Roadliner was Cummins V6 not a V8 that was a Perkin engine soz mate
V6 Cummins? Sure it wasn't a Detroit, 6V53, 6V71 or 6V92? We got the V8 Perk here to unpopular, unreliable, uneconomical and underpowered. I think they idled on only four pots.
