It was every schoolboy's dream car back in '68, and a quantum leap from the previous model (HR), or so we believed at the time.

I have a library book at the moment, "History of Holden V8", it covers the entire Monaro range, HK, HT, HG, HQ, HX, and HZ. It also covers the 2 and 4 door and other variants (SS & LS) Plenty of reprinted articles and ads from Wheels, Modern Motor and Sports Car World . Its an incredibly informative read. If you're interested I'll get the ISBN for you, or get a copy here and post it to you.

Do you know what a Holden Hurricane is?

I'd totally forgotten it, after a few paragraphs it started coming back to me, I wondered how I could forget such a diamond, particularly being a local product.
