Thread: Victorian registration in NSW

Hi all,

Well I have contacted the RTA and I need a blue and green slip for an unregistered vehicle (no rego on green slip), the blue slip is a required inspection for unregistered vehicles and there may need to be a further inspection depending on the what's in the blue slip and how they feel on the day because the car is 6 years old. Basically they treat my car as if its unregistered...which technically it is in NSW...it all amounts to costs and more costs and inconvinience if I need another inspection above the blue slip because then I need to take it to an RTA inspection place!

I must say when I moved to VIC and changed the rego from NSW to VIC it was a lot easier and cheaper!

There are a heck of a lot of business vehicles registered interstate which are used in NSW.

You see lots of rental cars up here with Vic. plates.
