    AULRO Musos

Being a frustrated old muso looking to put a new band together at present I was just wondering if there were any other AULRO members out there who play and have had bands at some stage.

You never know we may get together for a jam one day. I am a drummer so technically not a musoaccording to guitarists I have played with.
I have played everthing from brass band comps, jazz, punk, rock, RSL bands, and big band stuff. Love it all as long as you can perform and get a crowd boppin along.

A drummer here too, not a great drummer, but I can hold a beat, play a bit of acoustic guitar as well, more a strummer then technical

Used to play left handed bass to start with a long time ago.

I can play the radio, cd player, cassette tape, 8 track, and even those black round things that people called records.

Guess you heard all the drummers jokes then?

What do you know if the drummer is drooling from both sides of his mouth?

    Singer of many drunk ballads
Dont play any instruments, other than bad unskilled playing of the tin whistle
    But.....
In the words of Fran Katzenjammer

"I must be musical,I've got loads of CD's"

This could be the beginning of the AULRO jam, similar to the Youtube orchestra

Well I am off to rehearsal. Typical band. The bass player wants to play guitar and the guitarist wants to play bass.

They all want to sing but only the songs that the other one wants to play. As a drummer solo work is not an option. My next instrument will be the flute. My back can't lug a 5 piece kit up two flights of stairs anymore.
