    rover owners in Townsville

    would like to find out how many owners are in townsville as I am being posted there at the end of the month. would be great to meet other rover owners and go 4x4ing.

    There are quite a number here and in surrounding areas. I have noticed an increase in Defenders lately. Then of course I would be looking for them.

    If you pop into the local dealer (Tony Ireland) and see Geoff or David, you can access others including non L/R owners. By the by neither of them own a Defender (Discos and RRs) but I still speak to them we all make mistakes!! (can of worms open)

    All good people not too serious. Enjoy driving, camping, company and looking after vehicles. You can also get good advise on places to go for day or extended trips. I will be away when you arrive but you will be looked after.

    cheers Pete, thanks for that, when are you likely to be back, so there is a good rover club in townsville is there or is it a general 4x4 club i'm not fussy either way really.
