Easy way to fix a fuel issue

    Hi Guys
The Grinch had to take Lindsay up to Perth for a school camp on monday. She wanted to take HER Rangie not my D2.
She got to Armadale and ran out of gas switched to petrol but it wouldnt run well. She just got to a fuel station and got some LPG.She kept having starting issues but did get home."IM SICK OF THIS" was one comment I recall.
Yesterday morning no start so a short walk to work for her.
I get the phonecall saying Im taking it to the mechanics once I get it going.
It was still parked up at the end of the day."Did the mechanics fix it dear" "WHAT DO YOU FN RECKON IT WONT START"
After a bit of looking around I get it to fire up on the gas only start.Soon as you switch to petrol it would die.
RichardK will tell you about a dent in the fuel tank that effects volume and the gauge, she nows it too, after all its HER car.
I told her its starting/running in the middle section of the 3 way switch and Im not prepared to spend any more time on it till she puts some petrol in it ("ITS NOT OUT OF PETROL" is something she kept telling me!!!)and I have some time on the weekend to look into it.
Got a phonecall today, the Rangies fixed, runs fine on Petrol now."How did you fix it??" I put $20 of PETROL in it
In normal LPG mode it starts on petrol and auto switches to LPG,without gogo juice it wont start. She new about the emergency start on LPG switch position but never tried it

Ah yes, quite a dent, also put in by a woman who was determined to get over a rock, she did but lost capacity in the fuel tank doing it!!!!
