My forays with Land Rover were all through the bush fire brigade where we had series 1, 2, 2A as well as an assortment of other vehicles.
I suppose though it really began in 1982 when I bought my Range Rover for $12000 (then was out of work less than 6 months later) Together with the Numptys we did a heap of camping and exploring around the Yalwal area before it was all locked up with the Ettrema wilderness area, as well as getting out into the desert areas.

Done Camerons corner from Wollongong Broken Hill, up the Strzleckie to
Camerons. Down along the fence through salisbury downs, whitecliffs,
Louth, tilpa ect. Seven jeeps had a ball. Can't wait to get the 80" finished
so i can do it in a series 1.
There's nothing better than a bit of reminiscing and great photo's too.
