I wonder if that would hold up in court...I mean, sneezing has in the past as a cause for an accident (I think)
There was a guy in WA quite recently found guilty of negligent driving causing an accident when he sneezed, so may not hold up.

Well it's true - i'd say 70-80% of my experience with 'the plod' (in various countries) has been good.

I got pulled on my first long-ish trip in Oz driving a Forester XT - hard not to speed on the back roads Having been warned by my missus that the cops were out for making $$$ on that particular road. The only thing worse than having my wife saying 'told you so' was that she actually knew the cop who was stayed in the car while the other one booked us. He told us that he'd have let us off, but his partner had already written the ticket

    road bike in rain

ridding my bike one night it started to rain, now at 100kmh the rain was staying on my visor but at 120 kmh it was dispersing the the red and blue lights appeared so i got asked the question, as was my answer i explained just above he told me it wasn't good enough because i can have a accident at the speed in the wet. lol if he only was the earlier i wouldn't of got just a fine lol. but when i pleaded my case that it was safer because i could see clearer i got a warning to shut up and cop it or get a more substantial fine

Mine has pretty much been all bad, although alot of it well deserved, the best I've come across are members of the CIB, they are more than fair and very fair minded.......although I've usually been on the wrong side

Been a good boy for years, but the last chap, whom I ended up callin an (what's that song....I'm an.........A S S H.....) repeatedively, didn't like me, although when I contested, the Magistrate also agreed

But, I've also met some great Coppers, out of work, good to get along with and I guess when you deal with the lowest common denominator in society most all of the time, its hard to remember, not everyone is the same

The only fine I have ever received was totally worth it.

Last time I was pulled over I was running late for a funeral .

Copper let me go as he hadn't got a long enough scan to book me (or so he said).

Well, I've only been pulled up twice in over 45 years of driving. Once was for a noisy exhaust (when I was 17). It was a copper pipe. I didn't cop a fine or even a defect. The motorbike copper just told me to get it fixed.

The other time was for a blown tail light on my bike when I was about 24. The cop was also on a bike and he just wanted to tell me. I thought he wanted me for speeding as I had, er, umm, been slightly above the limit when I spotted his headlight behind me.

A few weeks later I got even. I came up fast behind a cop bike (maybe the same one as it was in the same area - Blacktown) and he did a double take. Who the heck would overtake a cop bike?

I merely pointed to his tail light. He looked and then took off like a scalded cat.

Not long after, I did something similar to a police car on Victoria Rd (Sydney). I got behind the car and flashed my bike headlight at the police car. The cop pulled over, got out, and came up to me to find out what I wanted. I just told him he had no tail lights nor blinkers. He seemed to deflate.

All in all, I cannot complain about coppers.
