Funny.
I always thought a Land Rover S1 mobile phone looked like this.

It looks like finally there's a phone I have less chance of destroying.![]()
Does it have a gearbow leak? Mine does.![]()
Wow! I want one!
I wonder whether the GPS mapping is upgradeable to Australia maps?
I'm also wondering whether its best to wait for their second release
Wouldn't be like Land Rover to launch something with bugs now would it?![]()
I've got one, went to a fair bit of trouble to get a mate in London to buy and post to me ... now, I have an indestructible paperweight.
It seems they are all SIM-locked to Orange, though the landroverphone.co.uk stated you could buy the phone only, as opposed to getting it free if you sign on for an Orange contract, which implied the one you buy is SIM-free.
My mate called up the seller, was told lock was by Land Rover.
The quest for the key continues.
Oh, before it got to me, there was apparently a delay in shipping by the dealer because it had a problem with bluetooth and they had to flash it or something. It's a genuine LR product all right.
