Congrats Shonky. Went looking for a copy this morning, but bloody newsagents in Fremantle are useless - hardly even carry a range of the Aus 4WD magazines, let alone imported ones.

Oh well - wait til next weekend - at least the newsagent in Hannan St in Kalgoorlie carry all the good mags.
    Cheers .........

How is old Kal? Lived there until I was 6 but went back quite a few years ago. Bloody amazing how much it had changed in 10 years!

I can't remember if it was on Hannan St, but we used to go to a butcher shop were all three of the blokes there were missing at least one finger!

It's still changing - more traffic lights and more roundabouts. Bloody big city urban engineers getting too involved in the place if you ask me.

But the lifestyle is still much the same - plenty of work about for anyone prepared to look for it, plenty of pubs, and Hay Street is still much the same, though down to only three "establishments" now. Mona's is now a backpackers hostel since the cops busted for drugs years ago.

Foundry hotel has been shut for years - again busted for drugs amongst other things (bikies have had to move to another pub), and I heard last week that the Federal hotel has also closed - so a few of the local icons are going by the wayside.

The butchers you went to might not have been in Hannan Street - there hasn't been a proper butchers shop in the main street for many years. Could have been any one of a number of others though - haven't heard of one with so many missing fingers though haha - would be a bit of a worry.
    Cheers .........

DROPshort, DARKside and DIGger need to be wary that I may DROP them down a DARK DIG if I catch them anywhere near my truck!
