    Tassie Trip

I'm doing a trip to Tassie in the Freelander, I'm going to drive her in to the river and cross my fingers for a Defender.

So when do you head over to the great southern island?

They'll be a Defender going over in early August as we are booked on the little boat already for then.

I'm starting to realise why I prefer Cascade to Boags...

... I thought it was because we lived in the southern half...

    ...this thread is getting weird

Yes, Cascade beer and Lark's Tasmanian Apple Schnapps are the best drops for there

Friend of mine works for a tas gov dept that has a couple of these for towing, they have already destroyed 1 engine and they now have big notes taped to the dash 'Operator to check oil and water daily'
last time I took a squiz at one, after 3000km it had drunk 1.5 litres of oil
Very environmentally friendly vehicles - NOT. Even my 550k old 4BD1 used less than 500ml over 10,000km.
