Thread: An Amusing photo??

An Amusing Photo?? or at least my father in-law thought so. He took this picture during his travels, not sure how old it is as he never gave me that info.

What he thought was funny, is that there are a number of (Toy 4wd vehicles) Land Rovers on display outside the Toy Museum.

I should have known better, after all he is a Nissan driver, although he does have an appreciation for the Land Rovers.

Some of the SA members may be able to shed some light on when, why and whom.

Ellard can give more details as it is in his home town, but basically the owner of the toy museum also collects Landrovers (and old Jeeps and a few other odd cars) - there is a paddock full of Landrovers out the back, and a shed with usually a few and a large collection of parts.

p.s. The Toy Museum is worth visiting, and the proprietor will talk Landrovers. Gave me free admission because I was driving a Landrover.
