Sound like they are doing you well... i hope my claws last half as good
Also good as was thinking of a set of MTZ's as a second set![]()
I purchased a set of 6 MT ATZ 31 x 10.5 tyres about 18 months ago, they have traveled 43327 km. Often require gravel rd travel for work and possible the harshest roads would be into birdsville and the birdsville track. The tread depth on new tyres is 14mm. The tread depth on my tyres is as follows, 3 at 10mm, 2 at 8mm and 1 at 7mm. The tyres have been rotated at about 10000km, never more but the earlist rotation was 7500km. I have 2 of the tyres with 10mm of tread puntured by reasonable size stones and repaired, thats been the only puntures. They have always been run at 40psi.
I have just spent $1000 today and got 4 new MT ATZ tyres for the up and coming trip
Thought this info may be of some use to someone
cheers

Thanks for the info Blaze.
Were they the 4 rib or the 5 rib ATZ? I have been looking at getting the 4 rib for my D2 as a slightly more aggressive A/T.

My BFG Muddies have 10mm tread left at over 80,000 K's
Just to add to my first post
The right rear tyre that completed my trip last year was quite chipped on my return but it doesnt seemed to have deteriated any quicker than the others. It is one of the tyres with 8 mm tread
cheers
