    AFL RD-17 footy trip

    its that time of the year again, just organising our annual trip to melbourne for a footy weekend

    It used t be a boys weekend but the number have dropped so its a couples weekend this year for my mate and myself

    Round 17 is our choice

    at this stage we will be watching the

    Blues v Pies fri night MCG
    Cats v Hawks sat day MCG
    will probably go to the dome sat night

    Hiline.....you up for a beer this year

    Gee your really looking to get your fix in one hit, 3 games in one weekend.
    Sorry last years did,nt work out too well, nevertheless will try to make it to one of your round 17 games & have a beer.
    Sure you dont want to go to round 14, I have tickets & thats the one we all want to see.

    Sounds great I organised one for some blokes from work a couple of years ago. Flew from Alice on the Friday then to the dome that night for Magpies V Roos. Markets Sat. morning then G for Swans v Hawks that arvo then straight across the road to watch Storm V Tigers left with 5 min to go, grabbed cab to the dome for Saints V Lions (big day). Sun morn on train to catch Cats V Tigers in Geelong flew home Monday morning. Was sensational weekend. So If i have enough notice and the mighty swans are playing I would definately be in for future trips - cheers JP

    That's the one to go to: Saints vs Dogs - definitely the match of the round. Enjoy!

    I'll watch it on TV and go to the Bombers v Tigers on Sunday.
