    V8 D-ID cruiser- drive impression.

The side mirrors are HUGE, like Telstra stadium HUGE.
the thing goes quite hard up to cough100cough,,
Press [press once, release, wait-- ] button starts are way cool
Fuel over the last tank was used at 17l per 100.
did I mention the side mirrors are HUGE??
and block out a LOT of vision?
    seats are comfy,
rear vision is terrible, which explains camera.
    man size inside door handles!!

    late edit;
    1100rpm at 60kph.
    same as a dunnydore!

I had the first drive of our new truck today, not that new its been here 6 months but as I steer a grader all day I havent had a chance.
WOW.Its a 6 wheeler Isuzu Giga side/end tipper,475hp with the choice of auto or manual gear shift. In its Auto+Powershift+Skip gear mode you would win any traffic light Grand Prix when empty, this thing flies.Flooring it at 80ks actually pushes you into the seat, goes hard till the 105km limiter kicks in.
The guy who steers it reckons it goes just as hard with both the tray and pig trailer fully over loaded.
Very comfy to drive, has cab air suspension plus an air suspension seat.
We want another next year when the older 6 wheeler is up for replacement.

Same with the F250 V8s we had. On the highway they were better than my 4cyl petrol Rodeo 4wd with an equivalent light load.
    I miss having a ute

I've driven a 200 series too. It was very nice to drive but too bland for my taste.
