Well we made it to miserable, wet and cold Canberra. Will do the war memorial and few other bits tomorrow. For some reason - possibly the weather - we are in a motel for two nights and not the camper. Yeah we are being wooses

Yes War Memorial will take up most of the day.

Thanks Dale, don't jump on a Croc tomorrow at Memorial

As for the oil... the Valvoline they use had obviously broken down as it went very black and was starting to be consumed (used about a litre). The Castrol I've used previously will do this to but in about twice to three times the mileage. See how the Mobil oil that Trivett put in goes.

Well we went to the war memorial and stayed about an hour. All the "new" exhibits are in darkened rooms and was very hard to see everything (especially the ME262 and Komet) and the WWI exhibits hadn't changed enough. Rather disappointed in it actually. Like Stockman's Hall of Fame lots to read but poor choice of font, colour and lighting made it very awkward. Went to the Glass Exhibition - not much to see and no artists working so headed of to Tidbinbilla and looked at space stuff.

Off to Albury tomorrow, doubt the weather will improve much. Did enquire about going via Cooma - Snowy Mtbn Hwy or Alpine Way - but camper trailer was the least of the issues as they were requiring chains to be fitted to all vehicles on both routes this morning. So it will be Hume Hwy again tomorrow

Did get a nice wave from a white Defender today
