Only joking, I find Halloween a good excuse to buy a bucketload of lollies.... What the kids don't get ends up somewhere...

Sorry, I'm saving up for Thanksgiving which is a national holiday celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. It's on the 28 November.

If I can't wait for the thanksgiving party, I'll give Diwali a go as it's only a week away and I can party till I puke.

Deepawali or Diwali is certainly the biggest and the brightest of all Hindu festivals. It's the festival of lights (deep = light and avali = a row i.e., a row of lights) that's marked by four days of celebration, which literally illumines the country with its brilliance, and dazzles all with its joy.
