Mind you, when Rome conquered Britain, the Celts were relatively recent arrivals, and the Stonehenge was already ancient, with already several waves of immigration since it was built, so hardly any more accurate to say the Celts built it than to say the English did.

There's a similar structure in Dowth Ireland built by the Celts, it's around 4500yrs old, pre-dating Stonehenge by quite a few yrs, it even pre-dates the Pyramids, I assumed the present day English are more decended from the Saxons and Normans, but you may be right, I'm often wrong John
